Li Shurui: LSR • Tendererest Affection” Li Shurui’s first solo exhibition in Paris, presents recent works alongside a video. The artist is showing a video work for the first time. Li Shurui is very well known for her paintings in which she explores the relationship between space and light, she began her “Lights” series in 2005 using airbrushing. Li continues to develop her concept of lights and space, and has gained important collectorship from around the world for her work.

About the artist:

Li Shurui (b. 1981, Chongqing) received her BFA at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SFAI) in 2004. Li was granted 2016 New York Fellowship Program of Asian Cultural Council (ACC).
